Clean Up Green Up - May 7, 2011

The PRWC is looking for volunteers to help clean up the mess left behind by the winter.
Meeting place is Hollow Park, May 7, 2011 at 9:00 am. Volunteers are asked to register in advance by calling 203-267-1700 or email events@pomperaug.org.

The NRRG will be helping our friends with their Spring clean up, we hope you can be there too!

Let The Cleaning Begin....

Charged up by the warm weather, NRRG held an impromptu clean up at the Naugatuck River Recreation Access on Platts Mills Rd in Naugatuck. A quarter mile stretch of Platts Mills Road was also cleaned.

Naugatuck River Forum

The NRRG attended and participated in the first Naugatuck River Forum which brought together government, federal officials, economic experts, environmental leaders, river consultants, recreational groups, green developers, regional growth experts, business leaders, engineers, riparian property owners, all who love the Naugatuck River.

On November 11, 2010 the NRRG attended a River clean Up sponsored by Thule Corp & HVA at the Tingue Dam in Seymour.
